DESCRIPTION

JUVEDERM VOLUX is the latest evolution in facial filler treatments for those seeking a more defined chin and jawline. JUVEDERM VOLUX is a sterile pyrogen-free physiological solution of cross-linked hyaluronic acid which is not of animal origin. JUVEDERM VOLUX with VYCROSS technology is a high concentration of cross-linked hyaluronic acid 25 mg with Lidocain that produces longer lasting, smoother and more natural looking results. VYCROSS TECHNOLOGY is a high concentration of cross-linked hyaluronic acid that produces longer lasting, smoother and more natural looking results. Design to be used to sculpt the chin and jaw area, giving facial definition that can last for up to 24 months. JUVEDERM VOLUX is a hyaluronic acid filler that utilizes the same VYCROSS technology as other products in the JUVEDERM family such as VOLUMA ET  VOLBELLA.

PACKAGING

• Conditionnement : 2 x 1 ml.
• Needles : 4 x 27 G1/2 (CE 0123).
• One syringe contains 1.0 ml of JUVEDERM VOLUX.
• The gel is presented in a graduated, pre-filled, disposable syringe.
• Each box contains two 1.0mL.
• Each box contains two 1mL JUVEDERM VOLUX syringes, 4 single-use 27G1/2” sterile needles to be used only for injecting JUVEDERM VOLUX, an instruction leaflet and a set of labels in order to ensure traceability.

COMPOSITION

• Cross-linked hyaluronic acid 25mg + Lidocain 0,3%.
• Hyaluronic Acid gel 25 mg.
• Lidocaine hydrochloride 3 mg.
• Phosphate buffer pH 7.2 q.s. 1ml.
• One syringe contains 1 ml of JUVEDERM VOLUX.
• The presence of lidocaine is meant to reduce the patient’s pain during treatment.

STERILISATION

The contents of the JUVEDERM VOLUX syringes is sterilised by moist heat. The 27G1/2” needles are sterilised by radiation.

INDICATIONS

JUVEDERM VOLUX is an injectable implant intended to restore and create volume of the face.

INJECTION

JUVEDERM VOLUX is indicated only for subcutaneous and supraperiostal injections. The technique and depth of the injection vary depending on the area to be treated. Medical practitioners must take into account the fact that this product contains lidocaine. JUVEDERM VOLUX is not recommended for intramuscular injections.

CONTRE-INDICATIONS

Do not inject JUVEDERM VOLUX in the periorbital area (eyelid, under-eye area, crow’s feet), in the glabellar region or in the lips. JUVEDERM VOLUX is not intended for use in breast augmentation/ reconstruction. Do not inject into the blood vessels (intravascular). Intravascular injection may lead to embolization, occlusion of the vessels, ischemia or infarction. Do not overcorrect.

DURATION

The fillers work by restoring lost volume in the face, filling lines and wrinkles and hydrating skin with results that can last from 9-24 months, depending on the treatment chosen.
