Is Profhilo a hyaluronic acid filler? A: No. Profhilo is a bioremodeling agent. It is not intended to fill wrinkles or add volume, but to improve skin quality and firmness by stimulating the skin's own production of collagen and elastin.

What is the BAP Protocol and why is it used with Profhilo? BAP (Bio Aesthetic Points) is a standardized technique of five injection points per half of the face, specifically designed for this product. It ensures optimal product distribution across the entire face and minimizes the risk of complications in sensitive areas.

How many Profhilo sessions are needed for treatment? The standard protocol (initial treatment) generally includes two sessions one month apart, followed by a maintenance session every 4 to 6 months.

Is there a risk of an unwanted volumizing effect with such a high concentration of hyaluronic acid? No. The concentration is high, but because the product is not chemically cross-linked, it is very fluid and diffuses easily. Therefore, it does not have a significant volumizing effect, making it ideal for patients who do not want additional volume.
