Phosphatidylcholine is a glycerophospholipid which plays a part in the metabolism of many body fats. DERMICA ADIPOZON plays an active role in cell transportation and the formation of their structure. It forms part of cell membranes in both animals and plants and is one of the components of fatty suspensions such as milk. DERMICA ADIPOZON supplies choline, which is necessary to preserve the integrity of the cell membrane and to facilitate the movement of fat out of and inside the cell. DERMICA ADIPOZON has a mobilising lipotropic action as it increases the fluidity or permeability of the adipocyte membrane, favouring the removal of the fat component. The fact that it favours permeability is related to fatty acid saturation (as saturation increases, permeability decreases); as such, a polyunsaturated phosphatidylcholine is used.
